Responsibilities of officers:

The President shall:

a.  Preside at all general membership and special meetings ensuring that all meetings run effectively and each individual is able to voice his/her opinion on a subject matter.
b.  Call all local Pre-Health chapter meetings to order, and shall adjourn each said meeting.
c.  Appoint committees and serve as ex-officio (non-voting) of said committees.
d.  Present agenda (to advisor before general membership meetings)
e.  Present agenda to members of the club at general membership meeting
f.  Assist the treasurer in the preparation of a budget for his or her term of office

g.  Stay in contact with advisor at least on a weekly basis via email or visit

h.  Attend all activities with or in place of the vice president at opening of each event and at its culmination to oversee and facilitate the processes of the occasion

i. Administer other officers and ensure that each officer’s duties and responsibilities are being carried out efficiently

j.  Suggest new ideas and activities as well as supervise each event

k.  Serve as a chapter delegate to the Premedical Caucus at AMSA’s National Annual Convention if applicable
